JIM HENRY

The driving force behind a lot of the GHG's style and musical feel is directly related
to Jim and his "booming bass" sound. One of Jim's many qualities is his wonderful
solo voice. His version of Tennessee Ernie Ford's 16 Tons is one of the GHG's most
requested songs.

He is a choral music professor at the University Of Missouri St Louis.
He has a PHD in music but the GHG guys still refuse to call him
DR JIMMY! He is the musical director for the Ambassadors Of Harmony, a 100+
men's chorus singing a wide variety of a cappella music and just crowned 2004
International Champions of the barbershop harmony society.

Jim joined the barbershop society at a very early age (11) and became addicted
in all types of music. He arranges many of the songs for the GHG including the
popular Eine Kleine NOT Musik and I Still Can't Say Goodbye
(a tribute to Jim and Rob's father Bob Henry).

Jim and his wife Geda live in St Peters, MO with their daughters Lydia and
Gea Rose and their son Isaiah Bennett.
