I remember going to a GHG performance in Salt Lake City when i was a kid. They were the best there was in my opinion. My favorite Jim moment is when he sings about being a refrigerator repairman, (I think that was Jim). Thanks for some incredible music.

i saw gas house gang twice! both times at the college in hays,ks! they were so wonderful! by far my fave quartet of all time! i met each one of them and got pics and autographs! the first time i saw them they were wearing their colorful suits! jim-purple,rob-orange,rich-yellow and kipp-green! they looked so awesome in them! and the second time i saw them they were wearing black shirts and black pants! again..i got their autographs and told them they put on a wonderful show! i got their fan mail address and sent them a letter! it took many months for them to reply but in febuary i got a letter from them! they autographed a group photo with my name on it and it said best wishes from the gas house gang..the photo was color..and they were wearing those colorful suits! to this day..it hangs up in the living room at my parents house! and the letter kipp wrote back to me was so meaningful! i still have the letter! thanks so much for reaching out and touching so many peoples hearts, gas house gang! RIP ROB! u will be missed but never forgotten! the best baritone ever! Rough and Tumble Best!

I'm a long time fan of barbershop quartets. My father sang lead. I sang baritone. The Gas House Gang had such a great sound and blend! Rob's loss to cancer is so unfair. Thanks for what you did record. Out National Anthem brings tears every time I hear it.

Time cannot erase the love my wife and I have embraced for The Gang. Their love for their God, their music and their fans showed in every performance.
The night they sang to my wife is a never-to-be-forgotten event for us both.
Wherever life takes Jim, Rich & Kip, may His Light shine on them. They are sorely missed!

I didn't discover the GHG until recently, but if the recordings can bring tears to my eyes I can only imagine how great they must have been live!

I was first made aware of your group by a co-worker who knows that I too am a singer. She let me borrow "Beethoven's 5th". What a recording! Some of me fellow singers really have enjoyed it also. I sing in a 32 voice male chorus dedicated to singing sacred music. If you've any interest in learning about us, our web site is www.thekingschoraliers.org Thank you for such excellence in vocal performance. I hope that I can hear more.

Hi! I saw you in Lima, Ohio, over 10 years ago. My dad is a barbershop singer in a chorus there. He's there in the hospital now after having surgery for lung cancer (and then contracting the MRSA virus after that) and has been there about a year. When I stay with him, we listen to music, and I swear it heals him. We visited your site and were so sad to learn that you lost your friend but were happy to see him singing even from bed--that is what my dad is doing, too, so we really enjoyed seeing that. The song I most remember is something like "Color me Blue" but I don't see it on your list. I'll have to find it on a CD. Anyway, I loved that song and remember really enjoying your show. Thanks to you all for bringing some joy to my dad, too. Missy DeFrench

I am sorry that I never got to hear the GHG live. I heard your "William Tell Overture" several years ago on Nashville Public Radio and immediately got the "Rough & Tumble" CD and was surprised to see that someone besides me had learned "The Elements Song". My only personal experience with Barbershop is a quartet I formed with 3 friend in Montana in high school in 1965, but almost every day I listen to something by GHG. Thank you for the awesome music.

No matter how chaotic the day, I can listen to one of your CD's on my drive home and arrive with a smile. Thanks so much for sharing your music. Your joy is contagious!
